You’ll join Scotland’s Fair Trade network and be part of a global movement for trade and climate justice. Together we’ll take action for a fair future where business and trade contribute to justice, equity and sustainable development in the world.

When you join Scottish Fair Trade, you can expect:

To be part of the campaign – you’re showing that you agree with fair and sustainable trade, and support Scotland’s Fair Trade Nation targets

Profiling of your commitment to Fair Trade, and your Fair Trade work – we’ll add you to our list of Fair Trade supporters on our website

Advice and support – we’ll introduce Scottish Fair Trade and our work in a short meeting online where you can tell us about your plans and we can identify any opportunities to collaborate

Training and networking – we organise regular member events focused on issues and audiences including procurement, communities, learning, retailers, public sector and more

Involvement with the charity – as a member you can be nominated to join our trustees to oversee our charitable objectives, and are invited to our Annual General Meeting with voting rights

Event invitations – you’ll be one of the first to hear about our events and opportunities to get involved, including in marketplaces

Promotion support – we’ll showcase your work on social media, in our e-newsletters and in media stories

Political representation – we’re involved in the Scottish Parliament’s Cross Party Group on Fair Trade, work to engage MSPs, and are in regular discussion with the Scottish Government, so we’re in a position to present your Fair Trade commitments

To influence the global movement for change – we’ll keep you updated on the global Fair Trade movement, as network members of the World Fair Trade Organization, and supporters of the Fairtrade Foundation and Fair Trade Wales
