Young people across Scotland are already questioning how the world works – from fast fashion and greenwashing to unfair pay and climate injustice. We’re launching a new campaign ‘Swap the System’, and we’re looking for young people who want to be part of it.
The campaign is about imagining, and building, a better system. Not just swapping products, but swapping the values behind them.
We’re inviting a small group of young people (ideally aged 18–30) to take part in a short photoshoot and conversation in Scottish city locations. You don’t need to be an expert or a campaigner, just someone who has thoughts about the kind of world you want to live in, and what you’d like to change.
You might be:
- choosing fair fashion over fast fashion
- campaigning for climate or social justice
- thinking critically about consumption, work or the economy
- or simply curious about how things could work differently
Participants will be photographed and asked a few simple questions about the “system swap” they care about. We’ll chat beforehand to help with this. The images and quotes will be shared as part of the campaign on social media and online.
As a thank you for your time, we’re offering £100 (either as cash or a voucher for a Fair Trade store of your choice).
