Meeting & Event Guidance

Scottish Fair Trade aims to provide a supportive space for everyone to share their thoughts, experience, expertise and plans during our online and in-person meetings and events.

We ask all attendees to show respect during all conversations, ensuring that every individual feels valued and listened to, regardless of the topic being discussed.

To enable this supportive space, please:

• try not to speak over others whether that’s a speaker or presenter, or another attendee. Using the raised hand ✋ function can help us to ensure everyone wishing to contribute has a chance to do so.
• there will be planned space for questions and discussions so please wait until those spaces before putting your hand up.
• be aware that there may be others who wish to contribute to conversations. Keeping your input as specific as possible can help us to include others.
• do not use any offensive words or language.
