Terms & Conditions
The promoter is Scottish Fair Trade, registered charity SC039883, with its registered office at Scottish Fair Trade, Robertson House, 152 Bath Street, Glasgow G2 4TB
The competition is open to UK residents of all ages.
Entrants under the age of 16 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter. Where an entrant is under 16, the promoter may require confirmation of parental or guardian consent before awarding the prize.
Employees of Scottish Fair Trade or Karma Drinks, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
UK delivery only.
To enter, submit original creative content (including but not limited to photography, poetry, illustration, cartoons, slogans or short text) via the Swap the System zine submission form on the Scottish Fair Trade website.
Submissions must be received by 23:59 on 31 July 2026 (extended deadline) to be eligible for the prize draw.
No purchase is necessary and no entry fee applies.
All eligible submissions will be reviewed by the Scottish Fair Trade team and judged on creativity and impact.
A shortlist of five (5) submissions will be selected by Scottish Fair Trade.
The final winner will be chosen by Karma Drinks from the shortlisted entries.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize is one case of Karma Drinks per month for 12 consecutive months (a “year’s supply”).
The prize will be delivered to a UK address provided by the winner.
The prize is non-transferable and no cash or alternative prize will be offered.
Karma Drinks reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control require it.
The promoter is not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery details.
The winner will be contacted using the email address provided within 14 days of the closing date.
If the winner does not respond within 14 days of being contacted, Scottish Fair Trade reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The winner may be invited to take part in reasonable publicity related to the competition and the Swap the System campaign.
Entrants retain ownership of their submitted content.
By entering, entrants grant Scottish Fair Trade a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and share their submission as part of the Swap the System campaign, including in zines, on websites and on social media channels.
The shortlisted entries and winning submission will also be made available to Karma Drinks for use on their website and social media channels for promotional purposes, with credit given where reasonably practicable.
Submissions must be the entrant’s own original work and must not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
Scottish Fair Trade reserves the right to exclude any submission that is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.
Personal data provided will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting entrants where necessary, in accordance with Scottish Fair Trade’s Privacy Policy.
Where entrants are under 16, personal data may also be processed in relation to a parent or guardian for the purposes of administering the competition.
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, TikTok, Meta or any other social media platform.
Scottish Fair Trade reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the competition and these Terms and Conditions where necessary.
This competition is governed by the laws of Scotland and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
