Funded by Glasgow City Council’s Youth Climate Action Fund, the workshop takes place on 16 October at 10.30am.

We’re delighted to be joined by young people from Glasgow Disability Alliance and to be working in partnership with Glasgow Science Centre’s Community Learning Team.

This is a project about Fair Trade and climate injustice. 

Project Activities:

• Recruitment of Glasgow Youth Participants 
• Workshop: Training on climate justice, Fair Trade, storytelling and content creation
• Content Co-Creation: Depending on young people’s decisions – videos, digital campaigns, public installations, or events
• Community Outreach: Taking messages back to their communities
• Evaluation: Feedback sessions

Anticipated Outcomes:

• Increased knowledge of Fair Trade and climate issues among young Glaswegians
• Creation of replicable, youth-led communication models
• Strengthened skills in leadership, activism and public engagement
• Community-level shifts in understanding of sustainable consumption
