Whether related to courses, the supply of ethical products in campus cafes and shops and your college or university’s sustainability, Fair Trade has a lot to offer.
With ethical and environmental concerns of real importance in our daily choices, along with our commitment as responsible citizens to the Sustainable Development Goals, Fair Trade offers to a way of doing business and trade that prioritises people and planet. That’s reassuring to us as consumers.

Join the Movement
Some colleges and universities choose to become known as Fairtrade colleges or universities. The Fairtrade Foundation delivers, with SOS-UK, the Fairtrade University and College Award. This supported programme gives recognition to institutions that have embedded ethical and sustainable practices through their curriculum, procurement, research and campaigns. Find out more.
Scottish Fair Trade has various colleges and universities who have joined Scotland’s Fair Trade network, showing their commitment to Scotland as a Fair Trade Nation. If your college or university is not already a member and you think it should be, please get in touch.

Scottish Fair Trade works with a number of colleges and universities committed to supporting Scotland’s status as a Fair Trade Nation. We hold a small number of short, online networking events depending on demand, for our college and university members.
