This autumn, we’re asking our community to help us nurture the next generation of Fair Trade campaigners. 

Earlier this year, Scottish Fair Trade launched a new organisational strategy that puts young people at its heart. Across Scotland, campaigners have told us they want to see more energy, visibility, and youth voices in their communities. We’ve made great progress through the creation of our Youth Collective, which gives young people the chance to lead campaigns, run workshops, and share the message of Fair Trade in their own words. 

Now, to truly bring this work to life, we need your support. 

Our Government funding has been static since 2017, meaning that while it helps us keep the lights on, it doesn’t stretch to new initiatives. Other potential income streams –  like consultancy and partnerships – are growing, but not yet at the scale needed to sustain this vital youth work. 

That’s why we’re launching our first-ever Crowdfunder, aiming to raise £5000 to expand training, mentoring, and youth-led activities across Scotland. Every donation, large or small, helps us reach more young people, amplify diverse voices, and ensure the Fair Trade movement continues to thrive. 

This is about investing in Fair Trade’s future, and it starts with empowering young people to raise their voice in support of fairness.
